| Winter Session 2007-2008 PRE-PROFESSIONAL PROGRAM The Pre-Professional Program is a non-certificate, 5-day, after school program, designed for students who meet the program criteria, who have not yet graduated from high school. It offers the groundwork for aspiring students to enter the Professional Training Program and ultimately pursue a dance career. Classes include Ballet, Pointe, Men’s class, and special workshops. The Winter Session is 32 weeks and the Summer Intensive Session is 6 weeks. Students are required to attend both Winter & Summer Sessions. The Program generally covers a six-year period depending upon the individual
progress of the student. An essential element of this program is the
achievement of technical proficiency and performing quality. Participation
in DTH Open House performances, special event performance, and the end
of Session performance are requirements. |
