The Upper School Program encompasses levels 4 through 7 and Teen Beginners. Each level has its own Core Curriculum, a required minimum number of classes to be taken each week. The Core is designed to promote and support students' physical, technical and artistic growth and to develop well-roundedness and versatility.  Each level has its own carefully crafted ballet syllabus, delivered by well-trained, professional teachers. Students are expected to exhibit excellent attendance, discipline, and dedication.


the advanced placement program

The Advanced Placement Program is offered for students who exhibit notable potential and proficiency in ballet. Students who participate in the AP program will have a challenging Core Curriculum schedule of ballet, pointe-prep /pointe, Men's and elective classes that must be followed. Entrance into the AP program is by invitation only.


TEEN BEGINNERS 

Our Teen Beginners level is designed for students ages 12 to 19 who are interested in an introduction to the rudiments of ballet, who have little or no previous ballet experience. Students develop ballet vocabulary and movement, strength, flexibility, musicality and performance skills as well as discipline, focus, responsibility and community.
