School Auditions
JOIN THE DANCE THEATRE OF HARLEM SCHOOL!
Thank you for your interest! We are accepting applications for children ages 3 – 7 on a rolling basis for our 2023-2024 Fall/Spring Program. For children older than 7, our next in-person audition will take place on Sunday, December 3, 2023 at Dance Theatre of Harlem, 466 West 152nd Street (between Amsterdam and St. Nicholas Avenues), New York, NY, 10031.
December 3, 2023 Audition Schedule
12:00pm – 1:00pm, ages 3 – 7
2:00pm – 3:00pm, ages 8 – 12
4:00pm – 5:00pm, ages 13 and up

WHO SHOULD AUDITION?
Male and female students ages 3 – 18 years.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Dancers may wear a t-shirt or tank-top, gym/basketball shorts or leggings, and dance in bare feet or non-slip socks. For dancers with training: girls may wear leotard, tights, and ballet slippers. Boys may wear fitted t-shirt or tank-top, tights, leggins, or shorts, and ballet slippers.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
You will be evaluated during a standard ballet class.
WHAT IS THE APPLICATION PROCESS?
All students will receive an email notification. If accepted, you will also receive a link with more information (online registration information, online payments, etc.).
