Vision Gala

The Vision Gala is Dance Theatre of Harlem’s most anticipated event each year. Welcoming more than 2,000 audience members to the gala performance at New York City Center and 350 dinner guests from the philanthropic, business, and social communities to the Ziegfeld Ballroom, the Vision Gala is an evening to celebrate one of the world’s most luminary ballet companies, its artists, students, community partners, and the legacies of DTH Co-founders Arthur Mitchell and Karel Shook.

With a theme of JUBILANCE, the Dance Theatre of Harlem 2023 Vision Gala celebrates 54 years of trailblazing excellence by honoring former DTH Board Chair, business leader, arts advocate and philanthropist Reginald Van Lee and Virginia Johnson—founding member, former principal dancer and soon-to-be Artistic Director Emerita.

This luminary evening will feature performances to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the relaunch of the Company including a special work by resident choreographer and Artistic Director designate, Robert Garland, the Dance Theatre of Harlem School, and the return of Nacho Duato’s exhilarating Coming Together.

More information including performance details and ticketing is soon to come!
